As with all optical precision equipment, if not regularly maintained
the performance of your verifier will gradually degrade until
the instrument is no longer operating correctly. It is essential
that all bar codes comply with the General EAN.UCC specifications
and without accurate verification equipment this standard cannot
be guaranteed. A high quality service is provided by Sandilyam
Auto ID Ltd to help you maintain this critical accuracy of your
verifiers. Once your service and re-calibration has been completed
you will receive an ISO/IEC 15426-1 certificate confirming that
your verification equipment achieves the required standard.

Should you choose not to use the service
offered you should be aware that Sandilyam Auto ID Ltd cannot be
held responsible for any verifier over 12 months old which does
not conform to the required specification.
Sandilyam Auto ID Ltd provides a verifier calibration service (required
for verifiers aged 12 months or older).
Simply follow the steps below to ensure your verifier is adequately
calibrated.
1. Contact your Sandilyam Reseller or directly Sandilyam Auto
ID Ltd production office provide the following information:
- Your Sandilyam account / Customer ID number.
- Make & model no of your verifier(s)
- Quote “Verifier Calibration Service Request”
- Alternatively, click here to register online
2. We will provide a full quotation for you by return
3. Fax your purchase order, payment details and signed

4. Sandilyam Auto ID Ltd will normally complete the service
and re-calibration of your verifier within 7-10 days from
the date received.
5. Timely reminder – In future you will receive
an automatic reminder from us 1 month prior to the scheduled
recalibration/service date
If, during the service /re-calibration of your equipment other
faults or damage are found additional costs may be applicable.
We will automatically send you details of the necessary repair
and an estimate of cost.
For your convenience Sandilyam Auto ID Ltd also offers an equipment
rental scheme for customers who require replacement equipment
for the duration of the service.
This contract can be faxed to you with your service / calibration
quotes if required and is available on a monthly basis. |
